* THE GYM PROJECT *


_what_

* THE GYM PROJECT * is a brand new joint initiative developed by FUTURLAB and the FACULTY OF ECONOMICS (University of Alicante): a physical space, designed as social innovation laboratory for stimulating synergies and creativity, where both international students and organizations (business firms and public institutions) are welcome to work together. These co-working processes will be facilitated by the FUTURLAB Team, in order to help the students solving the concrete challenges proposed by the organizations participating in the project.


_why_

This project gives the students from the University of Alicante (both locals and foreigners) a unique opportunity: working together with the organizations participating in this initiative, in a learning-by-doing process.

_how_

The students involved this project will learn how to face future challenges proposed by the firms using the “Creative Futures” Approach: a Problem Solving approach developed by FUTURLAB on the basis of Experimentation and Co-creation, and connecting Participatory Foresight, Design Thinking and Creativity.


_when_

* THE GYM PROJECT * started in October 2015 and will last till January 2015 (1st Semester).


_where_

The GYM is located at the University of Alicante Campus (German Bernácer Building, groundfloor). This space will be available for all the students involved in * THE GYM PROJECT *. This working space will give the students the possibility to have their own space for developing working sessions and meeting with the representatives of the organizations participating in GYM.
